Miguel Syjuco's debut novel Ilustrado was also released late last month to rave reviews, and is one of the most compelling books I have read this year (along with Heidi Durrow's The Girl Who Fell to Earth, Amy Greene's Bloodoot, and a handful of others).
This week, to celebrate the wealth of good music and literature 2010 has already produced, I am giving away both these wonderful releases along with a random selection of music and books released this year.
To enter the contest, leave a comment in this post with the name of the best album and/or book you have read and/or listened to this year (your choices do not have to be released in 2010).
The winner will receive the following prizes:
The winner will be chosen randomly at midnight CT Friday evening (May 14th).
