This Week's Interesting Music Releases - July 6, 2010
This 4th of July weekend in the U.S. brings a slow music release week. The big releases are mainstream acts like Big Boi's Sir Lucious Left Foot... The Son of Chico Dusty and Kylie Minogue's Aphrodite, but I have been raving most about Kathryn Williams' The Quickening, a dark masterpiece from the singer-songwriter.
I can definitely recommend Baths' Cerulean and What Laura Says' Bloom Cheek among the week's indie releases.
Robert Pollard's Moses on a Snail is also on store shelves tomorrow.
Reissues in stores tomorrow include several Rolling Stones box sets that each include a t-shirt and other memorabilia (including a belt buckle, keychain, posters, and more).
