This Week's Interesting DVD Releases - August 3, 2010
To be honest, I gave up on Heroes somewhere in the middle of season two, but with season four out tomorrow, I am tempted to give the series another shot.
Other television DVDs out this week include the ninth season of Hawaii Five-O.
Theatrical films in stores tomorrow include the action-filled Kick-Ass and the children's flick Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I can most recommend the excellent French film A Prophet and the always entertaining thriller The Ghost Writer.
The Criterion Collection releases Eclipse Series 23: The First Films of Akira Kurosawa tomorrow, which I am also giving away in this week's Largehearted Boy contest.
The Dungeon Masters looks like an interesting documentary, chronicling role-playing gamers.
Beef up your Blu-ray collection with The Breakfast Club (25th Anniversary Edition), Road to Perdition, and Woodstock: 3 Days of Peace and Music (40th Anniversary Edition).
