Contest - Win Roger Ebert's New Book, The Pot and How to Use It: The Mystery and Romance of the Rice Cooker
As my wife and I ready for a move at the end of the year, we are cleaning out books, CDs, and vinyl albums, going digital wherever possible. One of the things we agree will stay in our library is the collection of cookbooks we've gathered over the years. Paging through our 50+ cookbooks gives both of us daily inspiration.
While looking through newly released cookbooks this morning I discovered that renowned film critic Roger Ebert has a new book out Tuesday, The Pot and How to Use It: The Mystery and Romance of the Rice Cooker. I have always been impressed by Ebert's writing on film and other topics, and am looking forward to this collection of recipes and anecdotes about utilizing one of my personal favorite time-saving kitchen devices.
To enter the contest, leave a comment in this post with the name of your favorite kitchen appliance or tool (if it's a microwave or even a telephone to order takeout, that's okay, too).
The winner will receive a copy of The Pot and How to Use It: The Mystery and Romance of the Rice Cooker by Roger Ebert.
One winner will receive the following prizes:
The winner will be chosen randomly at midnight CT Friday evening (September 24th).
