October 2, 2010
If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter, you probably know I am clearing out books, DVDs, and CDs in preparation of a year-end move. I digitized my music collection, picked up an e-reader (in my case, an iPad), and am generally getting rid of items I no longer need. My 30GB generation 5.5 iPod fits into this category.
Since getting an iPhone a couple of years ago, I find I rarely use the iPod anymore (both my iPhone and iPad offer more portable mp3 storage). The iPad purchase actually nudged me to give my iPod away. So far I have been impressed with it not only as an e-reader (especially for comics), but also its ability to interface with my media server both at home and while traveling.
To enter the contest, leave a comment in this post with the electronic device you couldn't live without. As much as I love my iPad and iPhone, my MacBook is the one electronic device I use the most.
The winner will receive my old 30GB generation 5.5 iPod.
One winner will receive the following prize:
my used 30GB iPod (filled with free and legal live performances)
new Apple Earbuds
USB charging/transfer cord
The winner will be chosen randomly at midnight CT Friday evening (October 8th).
