Closed Caption Comics #9
by Closed Caption Comics Collective
The long awaited new anthology from Baltimore's Closed Caption Comics collective is their most polished and impressive. Containing nearly 200-pages of art, abstract and narrative comics, it's a feast! I've long-argued that the CCC deserved more attention than they'd been getting in the comics world, and CCC#9 just underlines my point (and will hopefully rectify it).
by Sammy Harkham
Sammy Harkham's finely stylized, oversized comic returns with exploitation movies, gags, strips and more.
Yes, I know this isn't a comic - but it's a slow comics week this week, so I thought I'd point out Jason Croft's luscious pin-ups magazine.
