Krampus: The Devil of Christmas
by Monte Beauchamp (editor)
Just in time to not be in time for Christmas in the slightest! It's a gorgeous, historical, illustrative survey of the Devil of Christmas. Forget Santa giving bad boys and girls coal, you definitely don't want this Demon to come for you if you're on the naughty list. But this book is an excellent treat for those on the nice list.
by Brecht Evens
Brecht Evens is a Belgian comics artist who does wonderful and wondrous things with watercolors and pen and ink illustrations. Night Animals is an excellent introduction to his world.
Supersized: Strange Tales From A Fast-Food Culture
by Morgan Spurlock / Jeremy Barlow / Lukas Ketner / Tony Millionaire / Ron Chan
As you'd suspect from Morgan Spurlock (Supersize Me), Supersized is a behind the scenes/under-the-fryer look at the toll fast food culture takes on us.
Uglydolls: Babo's Cookie Problem
by David Horvath / Sun-Min Kim
An adorable kids book by the folks who create and make the Ugly Dolls.
