This Week's Interesting DVD Releases - March 15th, 2011
The Criterion Collection releases Blu-ray editions of two classic films this week, Louis Malle's Au Revoir Les Enfants and Edward Yang's Yi Yi.
Other Blu-ray releases include Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.
Theatrical releases include Clint Eastwood's supernatural drama Hereafter and David O. Russell's The Fighter. Sharktopus has been added to my to-watch list for its title alone.
Black Francis: The Golem - A Film is the 1920 German Expressionist film with an original score by the Pixies frontman.
Waste Land is the documentary I most look forward to this week, profiling people who scavenge the world's largest garbage dump in Brazil.
