This Week's Interesting Music Releases - April 5th, 2011

Alela Diane's To Be Still was one of my favorite albums of 2009, and Alela Diane and Wild Divine, out tomorrow, sees her sound get even bigger and poppier.

A solid week for indie music releases also includes Cold Cave's Cherish the Light Years, Glasvegas'ss EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\\, Ha Ha Tonka's Death of a Decade, Maritime's Human Hearts, and Timber Timbre's Creep On Creepin' On, all heartily recommended.

The earthquake benefit album Songs for Japan is available on CD this week after being out for a couple of weeks digitally.

The reissue that jumps out at me this week is the remastered edition of Tubes' The Completion Backward Principle, which includes several bonus tracks.
