This Week's Interesting Music Releases - April 19th, 2011
tUnE-yArDs' w h o k i l l is the 2011 album I have listened to the most this year, and easily the highlight of the week's music releases.
Other new releases I can strongly endorse this week include The Head and the Heart's self-titled album, Malajube's La Caverne, O'Death's Outside, and The Unthanks' Last.
Reissues are led by three remastered Kinks albums, Kinda Kinks, Kinks, and Kinks Kontroversy, all packaged bonus CDs of bonus material. A remastered edition of Superchunk's Here's Where the Strings Come In is also available.
Though not a music release, Will Oldham's reading of Rudolph Wurlitzer's novel Slow Fade may be the week's most intriguing new CD.
