20 Down, 32 To Go - "Kamchatka" (52 Books, 52 Weeks)
Through the eyes of a 10-year-old narrator, Marcelo Figueras examines life in Argentina after the 1976 coup in Kamchatka. Events tragic, funny, and always poignant tell the story of a country and its people in turmoil in this compelling novel, and young Harry's attempts to make sense of the chaos are both entertaining and horrifying. This a book I couldn't put down, and definitely recommend.
My next book is the novel Matterhorn by Karl Marlantes.
