This Week's Interesting DVD Releases - June 21, 2011
The Criterion Collection releases its editions of Robert Aldritch's Kiss Me Deadly is in stores tomorrow, along with the Eclipse Series 27: Raffaello Matarazzo's Runaway Melodramas (which contains the films Chains, Tormento, Nobody's Children, and The White Angel).
Another feature film I am looking forward to is Josh radnor's comedy Happythankyoumoreplease.
For pop culture goodness alone, I will be checking out Mega Python vs. Gatoroid (which stars 80s pop stars Debbie Gibson and Tiffany) and the animated Mister T: The Complete First Season.
Two documentaries worth watching are Living in Emergency: Stories of Doctors Without Borders and Spine Tingler! The William Castle Story, which profiles the legendary horror filmmaker.
The week's television releases that do not star Mr. T include The Closer: The Complete Sixth Season, Medium: The Seventh and Final Season, and the animated Rocko's Modern Life-Season 1.
