Largehearted Lit is a reading series inspired by this blog's Book Notes feature. Inspired and previously hosted by the talented author Jami Attenberg, the series presents readings by authors featured in the Book Notes series along with musical guests.
The September edition of Largehearted Lit monthly reading is Sunday, September 25th at 7:00 p.m. at WORD bookstore in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood.
Celebrate the modern golden age of young adult fiction with Brooklyn authors Libba Bray (Going Bovine, Beauty Queens) and Steve Brezenoff (The Absolute Value of -1, Brooklyn, Burning). Both will read from their latest novels and discuss the impact music has on their writing. Alicia Jo Rabins of Girls in Trouble will also perform and share an anecdote or two about literature. Pastries will be provided by The Brooklyn Baker.
The event starts at 7:00 on Sunday, September 25th, at WORD Brooklyn. There will be cupcakes and wine.
Optionally RSVP on Facebook.
