Walter Isaacson's biography of Steve Jobs, one of the most highly anticipated nonfiction books of the year, was released in the United States this week. While reading the book, I wondered who would be a good fit to write my own biography...
To enter this week's contest, leave a comment with the name of the author (living or dead) you would most like to write your own biography. If you would rather write your own, feel free to state that. Since I am such a great fan of nonfiction and especially biographical comics, my personal choice is cartoonist Chester Brown, swayed in no small measure by his fantastic Louis Riel: A Comic-Strip Biography (one of my favorite graphic novels of all time).
One winner, chosen randomly from the commenters, will receive the following prizes:
Steve Jobs, by Walter Isaacson
A $100 Threadless gift certificate (to buy book-related t-shirts like A Voyage of Discovery, A Book Lover, November Was a Good Month, Brainy Rainbow, Word!, and many more.
The winner will be chosen randomly at midnight ET Friday evening (November 4th).
