Largehearted Lit with Greg Olear, John Sellers, and Jenna Torres

Largehearted Lit is a reading series inspired by this blog's Book Notes feature. Created and previously hosted by the talented author Jami Attenberg, the series presents readings by authors featured in the Book Notes series along with musical guests.

The October edition of Largehearted Lit monthly reading is Tuesday, October 4th at 7:00 p.m. at WORD bookstore in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood.

Largehearted Lit's theme this month is fatherhood. Greg Olear will celebrate his novel Fathermucker's release date and read from the book, and John Sellers will read from his memoir The Old Man and the Swamp. Both authors will also discuss music's influence on their works, and singer-songwriter Jenna Torres will play several songs and share a book-related anecdote or two.

The event starts at 7:00 on Tuesday, October 4th, at WORD Brooklyn. There will be donuts and wine.

Optionally RSVP on Facebook.
