Largehearted Lit Tonight - Jesse Browner, Joe Wallace, and The Debutante Hour

Largehearted Lit is a reading series inspired by this blog's Book Notes feature. Created and previously hosted by the talented author Jami Attenberg, the series presents readings by authors featured in the Book Notes series along with musical guests.

The February edition of Largehearted Lit monthly reading is Thursday, February 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at WORD bookstore in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood.

Largehearted Lit's February theme is the New York City novel. Jesse Browner will read from his novel Everything Happens Today, set in Greenwich Village, and Joe Wallace will read from his novel Diamond Ruby, which is set in the New York of the 1920s. They will also discuss music's influence on their writing and vice versa. Brooklyn's own The Debutante Hour will share a book anecdote or two and perform several songs.

The event starts at 7:00 on Thursday, February 23rd, at WORD Brooklyn. There will be black and white cookies provided by The Brooklyn Baker (official caterer of the series) and wine.

Optionally RSVP on Facebook.
