Contest - Win Anthony Bourdain's Graphic Novel Get Jiro! and a $100 Threadless Gift Certificate

The world is filled with proverbial Reese's Peanut Butter Cup moments, when two great things come together. Early next month chef, author, and television celebrity Anthony Bourdain publishes his first graphic novel, the food-centric thriller Get Jiro!. I am an admitted fan of all of Bourdain's pursuits, especially his essays and interviews at McSweeney's quarterly Lucky Peach of late. Comics are a relatively new obsession for me. Given this pairing, I cannot wait to read this book.

To enter this week's contest, leave a comment naming your favorite celebrity (or non-celebrity) chef. Feel free to answer "none" if you feel that way. My favorite chef, Isa Chandra Moskowitz of the Post Punk Kitchen, does not have a television show, but she should.

One winner, chosen randomly from the commenters, will receive the following prizes:

Anthony Bourdain's graphic novel Get Jiro!

A $100 Threadless gift certificate to buy book-related t-shirts like A Voyage of Discovery, A Book Lover, November Was a Good Month, Brainy Rainbow, or Word!, music-related t-shirts like The Official Guide to Music, Boom Box, Sound of the Dark, or anything else that catches your fancy.

If you have already have the book or it doesn't interest you, I am happy to substitute a second $100 Threadless gift certificate for the book.

The winner will be chosen randomly at midnight ET Friday evening (June 22nd).
