This Week's Interesting Music Releases - July 10, 2012
Woody at 100: Woody Guthrie Centennial Collection is another impressive archival box set from Smithsonian/Folkways that collects 57 of the legendary singer-songwriter's songson three CDs, and includes a 154-page book. Younger fans may enjoy Elizabeth Mitchell's Little Seed: Songs for Children By Woody Guthrie.
Dirty Projectors' Swing Lo Magellan, Holograms's self-titled album, and Twin Shadow's Confess are other new music releases I can wholeheartedly recommend.
