This Week's Interesting DVD Releases - July 24, 2012
The Criterion Collection releases Blu-ray editions of two Whit Stillman films tomorrow, The Last Days of Disco and Metropolitan, as well as Eclipse Series 34: Jean Gremillon During the Occupation (Remorques, Lumiere d'ete, Le ciel est a vous).
The first season of Kelsey Grammer's Boss and Star Trek: The Next Generation - Season One [Blu-ray] are the television highlights.
Two documentaries are especially tantalizing. Jiro Dreams of Sushi profiles Jiro Ono, considered to be the world's greatest sushi chef, and Clockwork Orange County chronicles the rise of punk rock in Southern California.
