This Week's Interesting Music Releases - September 18, 2012
As the weather cools, the music release lists get hotter. This week Grizzly Bear's Shields, a mainstay of my listening over the past couple of weeks, hits the stores.
Aimee Mann's Charmer, Black Prairie's A Tear In The Eye Is A Wound In The Heart, Catherine Irwin of Freakwater's Little Heater, Dinosaur Jr.'s I Bet on Sky, and Josephine Foster's Blood Rushing are other new albums that have impressed me.
Michael Jackson's Bad has been remastered and expanded for its 25th anniversary edition.
Vinyl reissues include two Aphex Twin albums (…I Care Because You Do and Richard D. James Album) and four from Liars (Drum's Not Dead, Liars, They Threw Us All in a Trench and Stuck a Monument on Top, and They Were Wrong, So We Drowned).
