Contest - Win Matt Furie's Children's Book The Night Riders and a $100 Threadless Gift Certificate

The Night Riders

Lately, several of my friends have brought new babies home, and my first gift for the little ones is almost always a book (or three or five). I don't have kids, so my experience picking out children's books is limited, but I can always depend on McSweeney's McMullens imprint for books that both small children and adults can enjoy. One of their recent books, The Night Riders, is a fascinating story of two nocturnal friends (a frog and a rat) and their bizarre and wonderfully detailed night exploring their world.

To enter this week's contest, name the children's book you love the most to win this book and a $100 Threadless gift certificate.

One winner, chosen randomly from the commenters, will receive the following prizes:

The Night Riders by Matt Furie

A $100 Threadless gift certificate to buy book-related t-shirts like A Voyage of Discovery, A Book Lover, November Was a Good Month, Brainy Rainbow, or Word!, music-related t-shirts like The Official Guide to Music, Boom Box, Sound of the Dark, or anything else that catches your fancy.

If you have already have the book or it doesn't interest you, I am happy to substitute a second $100 Threadless gift certificate for the book.

The winner will be chosen randomly at midnight ET Friday evening (October 12th)
