Contest - Win Peter A. Carlin's New Bruce Springsteen Biography and a $100 Threadless Gift Certificate
Over the last couple of weeks, I have shared a couple of Bruce Springsteen posts, notably Caryn Rose's Book Notes music playlist essay for her book Raise Your Hand: Adventures of an American Springsteen Fan in Europe and a collection of covers of Bruce Springsteen songs.
Peter A. Carlin's Bruce Springsteen biography, Bruce has just been published.
Since The Boss is unabashed in his support for President Barack Obama, and this is the week of the U.S. presidential election, I wondered which musicians would back me if I ran for office.
To enter this week's contest, leave a comment with the name of the musician you would most like to support you if you ran for political office for a chance to win this new Springsteen biography and a Threadless gift certificate.
One winner, chosen randomly from the commenters, will receive the following prizes:
Peter A. Carlin's Bruce Springsteen biography, Bruce
A $100 Threadless gift certificate to buy book-related t-shirts like Storytellers, The Best Channels Since 1465, Fahrenheit 451, Brainy Rainbow, or Word!, and music-related t-shirts like Death Note, Funkalicious, Music Snob, or anything else that catches your fancy.
If you have already have the book or it doesn't interest you, I am happy to substitute a second $100 Threadless gift certificate for the book.
The winner will be chosen randomly at midnight ET Friday evening (November 9th)
