Contest - Win Rosie Schaap's New Memoir Drinking With Men, J.R. Moehringer's Memoir The Tender Bar, and a $100 Threadless Gift Certificate

Drinking with Men The Tender Bar

One of the most anticipated books of 2013 for me is Rosie Schaap's memoir Drinking with Men, an essay collection by the New York Times drinks columnist and Brooklyn bartender. This book reminded me of another memoir with a bar at its center, J.R. Moehringer's excellent The Tender Bar.

To enter this week's contest, leave a comment naming your favorite bar (in real life or fictional) to win a copy of this book and a $100 Threadless gift certificate.

One winner, chosen randomly from the commenters, will receive the following prizes:

A copy of Rosie Schaap's memoir Drinking with Men
A copy of J.R. Moehringer's memoir The Tender Bar

A $100 Threadless gift certificate to buy book-related t-shirts like Storytellers, The Best Channels Since 1465, Fahrenheit 451, Brainy Rainbow, or Word!, and music-related t-shirts like Death Note, Funkalicious, Music Snob, or anything else that catches your fancy.

If you have already have the book or it doesn't interest you, I am happy to substitute a second $100 Threadless gift certificate for the book.

The winner will be chosen randomly at midnight ET Friday evening (January 18th).
