Largehearted Lit Tonight with Jami Attenberg, Karolina Waclawiak, and Jon DeRosa

Jami Attenberg Karolina Waclawiak Jon DeRosa

Largehearted Lit is a reading series inspired by this blog's Book Notes feature. Created and previously hosted by the talented author Jami Attenberg, the series presents readings by authors featured in the Book Notes series along with musical guests.

The January edition of the Largehearted Lit monthly reading series is tonight at 7:00 p.m. at WORD bookstore in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood.

This month’s Largehearted Lit, a series celebrating music, books, and their intersection, celebrates Largehearted Boy's 11th anniversary. Authors Jami Attenberg and Karolina Waclawiak will read and share music anecdotes, and Jon DeRosa will play a couple of songs and talk books a bit.

A free book raffle will close the event, which benefits 826NYC, a nonprofit organization that supports students age 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills.

The free event starts at 7:00 on Wednesday, January 30th, at WORD Brooklyn. There will be devil dogs provided by The Brooklyn Baker (official caterer of the series), other pastries from Spirited, and wine.

Optionally RSVP on Facebook.
