This Week's Interesting Music Releases - March 12, 2013

David Bowie

Most of the music industry is in Austin this week for SXSW, but there are still a handful of notable releases.

The Next Day is David Bowie's first studio album in 10 years and 30th overall.

Mala is Devendra Banhart's follow-up to 2009's What Will Be.

Girls Names' The New Life and The Mary Onettes's Hit the Waves are two of the week's new albums I have read and can wholeheartedly account.

What new releases are you picking up this week? What can you recommend? Have I left anything noteworthy off the list?
