This Week's Interesting DVD Releases - April 23rd, 2013
The Criterion Collection releases expanded edition of Laurence Olivier's Richard III and Pierre Etaix, which collects several of the French director's feature and short films.
Literary adaptations include a Blu-ray edition of the 1974 film The Great Gatsby and Emily Arnold's Wuthering Heights.
Ken Burns' The Central Park Five (currently freely streaming at PBS) and Werner Hrzog's Happy People: A Year in the Taiga are documentaries worth watching. Last Summer Won't Happen is a 1968 film that examines the anti-war movement in New York City, focusing on a group of Lower East Side activists.
