Contest - Win Louisa Shafia's The New Persian Kitchen and Rosie Schaap's Drinking With Men
Every month, I co-host DISH, a food storytelling and reading series at Manhattan's Housing Works Bookstore. We present four "courses," and the participants have included chefs, writers, critics, bartenders, distillers, brewers, food stylists, and others. For me, the most exciting aspect of these events is the opportunity to interact directly with people who share my passion for food and drink.
This week, on October 3rd, we host the authors of two of my favorite books of 2013: Louisa Shafia, author of The New Persian Kitchen, and Rosie Schaap, author of Drinking with Men
