Atomic Books Comics Preview - March 6, 2014

In the weekly Atomic Books Comics Preview, Benn Ray highlights notable new comics and graphic novels.

Benn Ray is the owner of Atomic Books, an independent bookstore in Baltimore. The Mobtown Shank is his blog, and his comic Said What? is syndicated weekly in the Baltimore Sun's B-Paper.

Atomic Books has been named one of Bizarre Magazine's 51 geekiest places on the planet, as well as one of Flavorwire's 10 greatest comic and graphic novel stores in America.

Hell Yeah: A Classic Wrestling Coloring Book

Hell Yeah: A Classic Wrestling Coloring Book
by Mike Coley

This title is pretty appropriate as it's something you'll be saying to yourself a lot as you thumb through this art/coloring book - one side comes colored and the other is there for you to color in. The Macho Man, Koko B.Ware, Mankind, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, and more - all for your enjoyment! Hell yeah!

Henry Speaks for Himself

Henry Speaks for Himself
by John Liney

Reprinted for the first time since these strips ran in the 1940s/1950s, you can now enjoy the pranks of this oddball looking kid, Henry.

Nijigahara Holograph

Nijigahara Holograph
by Inio Asano / Matt Thorn (editor/translator)

Fantagraphics drops some gorgeous manga - Asano's artwork is just fantastic, and the story - well it involves the legend of a murderous beast, the possible end of the world and separate timelines. Complex, yes. But that complexity is earned.
