Pitchfork Review #2

Pitchfork Review #2

Pitchfork continues to pursue physicality with a new issue of its increasingly excellent quarterly publication. Articles on Kate Bush, critic Ellen Willis, Sun Kil Moon, A LOT of excellent comics by Edie Fake, Micheal DeForge, Simon Hanselmann and others, and this issue in includes a split single, with one side by Kurt Vile And The Lovetones and the other by Watery Love. The Pitchfork Review begs to be read cover to cover then sat down on a coffee table to be easily picked back up for more thumbing through. Here's hoping it inspires a new era of music-zine publishing - something we could all benefit from. Even if it doesn't, you'll want to collect these.

Weird Love #1

Weird Love #1

After the success of its excellent pre-Code horror reprint series Haunted Horror, IDW is now venturing into the romance realm with the fun Weird Love. With stories like "I Fell For A Commie," "Love Of A Lunatic," "Love In High Style," "The Taming Of The Brute" and more, it's panel after panel of vintage art and smacks, spankings and smooches.
