Allison Crutchfield's debut solo album Tourist In This Town is easily my favorite new release this week.
One of the year's first new music weeks brings a host of impressive new albums, including Cloud Nothings' Life Without Sound, Japandroids' Near To The Wild Heart Of Life, Julie Byrne's Not Even Happiness, Mark Eitzel's Hey Mr Ferryman, Priests' Nothing Feels Natural, Sleater-Kinney's Live In Paris, Tift Merritt's Stitch Of The World, and Ty Segall's Ty Segall.
Former Guided By Voices member Tobin Sprout's The Universe and Me is also in stores today.
