The Largehearted Boy 2018 Fundraiser
Several large projects are scheduled for Largehearted Boy this year, including much-needed back end programming, a podcast series, and new regular features. Of course the author playlists, daily book & music news, weekly music releases, indie bookstore book recommendations, and author-musician interviews will continue.
Advertising revenues have dropped precipitously, and I am reaching out to readers to help make these things happen and keep the site alive. If you enjoy Largehearted Boy and would like to make a donation, it would be much appreciated and used toward adding interesting content and creating a better user experience.
I never envisioned that this site would become such an integral part of my life. Every morning I wake up eager to post the daily book and music news and links as well as the day's music and literary features. Posting weekly book recommendations from three of the world's finest independent bookstores (Atomic Books, Librairie Drawn and Quarterly, and WORD) has been an honor, and the Book Notes author playlist series continues to inform, surprise, and fascinate me.
