Jesus At The Door, Mary In A Tree
A church in Florida has a door with the image of Jesus. (via holyweblog)
This reminds me: when we lived in Salt Lake City, there was a tree not far from our apartment that had been trimmed, and the image of the Virgin Mary became visible in one of the cuts. A shrine has been built upon the spot, much to the consternation of the city government. Every day I drove past the tree on my way to work, amazed at the number of pilgrims to the tree, like a minor league Lourdes.
