Is Thomas Kinkade: artist, subdivision developer and now swindler?
His paint-by-numbers factory approach to art should be bad enough (see Kostabi), or the Ponzi scheme he has in place to sell his artwork as "collectable", but now he's implementing his vision of community that "the attachment people feel to the paintings could be embodied in a real place." I'm shuddering at the mere thought...
