In Late Bloomer, C. Tyler combines her gift for storytelling with her artistic talent as she collects her early comics into one volume. The mostly autobiographical comics are like a close friend recounting their often troubled life. Thankfully, Tyler has a wonderful sense of humor and her self-deprecating approach (matched with her detailed pen and ink and watercolor artwork) make each story a fascinating read.
My next book is Underground!: The Disinformation Guide to Ancient Civilizations, Astonishing Archaeology and Hidden History, edited by Preston Peet.
