This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (March 18th, 2008)
This week's DVD release list is headed by two literary adaptations. The film version of Ian McEwan's novel Atonement is simply one of the finest films I saw last year. On the other hand, Love in the Time of Cholera is one of only two films I actually walked out of last year, you are better off reading Gabriel Garcia Marquez's book.
I spent most of last week in Austin, so didn't make up a preorder list of new DVDs. Of the remaining new releases, the third season of Battlestar Galactica is the only sure purchase for me (I can thank Whitney Matheson at Pop Candy for getting me addicted to this series).
