This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (October 28th, 2008)
Showtime's The L Word remains one of my favorite dramatic series, and I'm looking forward to catching up with season 5.
With Christmas and Hanukkah swiftly approaching, a growing number of complete television series are showing up in the release lists. The 4400, The Flintstones, Sanford and Son, Newsradio, and Good Times are just a handful of the television shows you can pick up on DVD tomorrow in their entirety.
Halloween week is upon us, and a bevy of horror films are available, from Zombie Strippers to Cannibal Taboo to the Blu-ray release of Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter.
The most interesting music DVDs combine popular music and spirituality, Inside Bob Dylan's Jesus Years: Busy Being Born... Again! and Johnny Cash: Chapter & Verse.
