Wednesday Comics is the perfect coffee table book for comics fans.
Wednesday Comics collects the anthology series of the same name in a glorious 17" x 11" edition. Some of modern comics' biggest names (Brian Azzarello, Mike Allred, Neil Gaiman, and others) create original serialized storylines for classic superheroes, and the resulting comics, originally printed on newspaper, translate exceptionally well to the book's oversized format. The artwork, often intricate, truly shines, and each storyline is fully realized. Superhero fans of all ages will simply adore this book.
Both Atomic Books and WORD Brooklyn both recommended this title in their weekly new book highlights here at Largehearted Boy, and now I understand why.
