Happy 9th Birthday, Largehearted Boy
Saturday marked the 9th anniversary of the first post on this blog.
I view birthdays as times of retrospection instead of celebration (in my case at least), and Largehearted Boy's anniversary is no different. The past year has seen big changes in my life. I moved from Alabama to Brooklyn, my wife finished grad school, and I relaunched the Largehearted Lit reading series. Despite these changes, one thing has remained constant, my fervor for sharing what I love with the world through Largehearted Boy.
My heartfelt thanks go out to the authors and musicians who have contributed to the site, as well as the publishers, record labels, and publicists who continued to send books and music my way. Thanks to everyone who reads Largehearted Boy.
Here's to nine more years (at least).
