This Week's Interesting Music Releases - February 1st, 2011
Camper Van Beethoven and Cracker frontman David Lowery releases his solo debut tomorrow, The Palace Guards.
Though not as studded with high profile indie rock albums as last week's music release list, this week has several standouts I can definitely recommend, including Bardo Pond's self-titled album, The Joy Formidable's Big Roar, Joan as Police Woman's Deep Field, and Seefeel's self-titled album.
The Go! Team's Rolling Blackouts album is also in stores tomorrow.
This week's crop of reissues brings a 6-LP Fela Kuti Vinyl Box Set #1 (curated by the roots' ?uestlove), a remastered edition of George Michael's Faith (with a CD of bonus material), and vinyl reissues of two Spiritualized albums, Lazer Guided Melodies and Pure Phase.
