This Week's Interesting Music Releases - May 3rd, 2011
Two hotly awaited albums are at the top of this week's music release list, Fleet Foxes's sophomore album Helplessness Blues and the Beastie Boys' Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2, and both are worth picking up.
Among this week's other releases, I can also strongly recommend Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys's Hotel Shampoo (which finally gets a U.S. release), Mick Harvey's Sketches From the Book of the Dead, Priscilla Ahn's When You Grow Up, and Small Sins' Pot Calls Kettle Black.
I will definitely be buying Morrissey's Very Best of, if only for the DVD.
Reissues this week are led by two box sets, Loudon Wainwright III's 5-disc 40 Odd Years and Kate & Anna McGarrigle's 3-CD Tell My Sister.
