This Week's Interesting Music Releases - August 16, 2011
Maria Taylor's new album Overlook is the week's new music highlight for me.
I can also recommend Battles' single My Machines, The Boats' Cannonballs, Cannonballs, Mister Heavenly's Out of Love, The Parson Red Heads' Yearling, The War on Drugs' Slave Ambient, and Yellow Ostrich's The Mistress.
Vinyl once again dominates the reissues, with copies of the Grateful Dead's self-titled album and Workingman's Dead leading the pack.
