November 5, 2011
I picked up the Momofuku Milk Bar cookbook last week, and it is easily my favorite of the dozen or so I have bought this year. With my birthday coming up in a couple of weeks, I began to wonder who the ideal chef or restaurant would be to cater my birthday party...
To enter this week's contest, leave a comment with the name of the chef (living or dead) or restaurant you would most like to cater your birthday party. If you would rather cook the food yourself, feel free to state that.
Given the prize this week, I would love to have the staff at any of the Momofuku restaurants cater my birthday party. Their pork buns, fried chicken, cereal milk soft serve and cake truffles would make a splendid spread.
One winner, chosen randomly from the commenters, will receive the following prizes:
Momofuku Milk Bar cookbook, by Christina Tosi
A $100 Threadless gift certificate (to buy food-related t-shirts like Cookie Loves Milk, Fast Food Meal, Adultery, Food Pyramid, GMOS OMG!, and many more.
The winner will be chosen randomly at midnight ET Friday evening (November 11th).
